“God’s Guarantee”

Q. Define what a guarantee is:

A. A formal assurance that something is a represented or that a specified acts will be performed.

It seems like guarantees don’t measure up anymore. A particular item we purchased has a guarantee – men’s! They stand behind their product for different time intervals with different restrictions. It has so many limitations on it that it seems worthless. It goes on with our politicians it seems like they talk out of both sides of their mouths. Their words, their guarantee is only as good as the moment, they change with the world’s opinion.

Praise be to God Almighty you and I have a guarantee in the Heavens, we have “God’s Guarantee”! When you and I come into a covenant with the “Creator of all” we can bank on His Words! If you have claimed God’s guarantee then rest easy because He cannot lie, see the following:

Titus 1:2 says, :In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;”
Hebrews 6:18 says, “That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:”

Illustration: Medieval artists had a particularly graphic way of depicting this struggle and Christ’s victory that followed. On their canvases they would paint the portrait of a man holding a sharp two-edged sword. Wrapped around His feet and legs is a serpent with bared fangs dripping their deadly poison. The two are in a fight to the death. The serpent weaves back and forth seeking an opening, looking for the opportunity to strike a major artery and inject its deadly poison. But all that the snake manages is one little nip at the man’s heels before its head is sliced off. We are in Christ if by faith we have accepted Him as our Lord and Savior to lets go forth in HIS example remembering we are HIS BODY in the earth!

10 Ways to Lose a Teen’s Attention

The top 10 ways to completely bore and disconnect with those you teach:

1. SAY SOMETHING NOT WORTH HEARING—This is basic, but if you want people to listen, start by saying something worth hearing. The number one reason we lose the attention of those we teach is that we’re not convincing them that what we have to say is important. Since there is nothing more important than teaching young people God’s Word, we’d better make it worth hearing.

2. SAY SOMETHING WITH NO PASSION—Have you ever heard someone teach with no voice inflection, no dynamic—nothing but monotone droning. It’s miserably hypnotic. If you’re not passionate about what you teach, don’t expect anyone else to care about it either.

3. TALK DOWN TO THEM—Make your listeners think that you believe they are completely stupid. Come across like you are gracing them with your brilliance and you can’t believe they don’t already know this stuff. Insult them with sharp sarcasm, personal jabs, and harshness. This will shut them down for sure.

Q. What was Jesus Christ’s purpose when he came into this world?

A. Open your Bibles to Mark 10:45 – “For even the Son of man came not to be minister unto, but to the minister, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

The word minister is # 1247 in the Greek dictionary of the Strong’s concordance; it means to be an attendant from #1249 to run errands. An attendant attends to business, serves a according to the circumstances like our Lord did!

The word ransom is # 3083 something to loose with. Praise God our Lord Jesus Christ loosed us from the grip of sin and death! Our Lord and Master freely gave His life so you and I can have life! Since we’re saved by His grace we should follow His example.

Titus 2:14 says, “Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. “
