From the Pastor’s Desk – November

Greetings to you in the name of the Lord! I wanted to reach out to my fellow believers with a word to shine some light on how important you are in this season. Yes, we are living in troubling and divided times in this nation and around the globe. But as Christians we are commanded to pray for our present leaders (1 Timothy 2:1-4) and understand there is indication from the Bible that God has been displeased with choices of leadership in the past (Hosea 8:4). Note also Proverbs 28:12 says (AMP) When the [uncompromisingly] righteous triumph, there is great glory and celebration; but when the wicked rise [to power], men hide themselves.    Here in America we have the freedom to make our God led convictions known with free speech and the ballot box. Where much is given comes much responsibility so please take advantage of this God given opportunity and vote! Remember Jesus Christ Himself said: “Ye (His Church) are [present tense] are the light of the world!Go out and shine!  Pastor Greg Proctor
