“I Feel All Alone”
So the thought trying to become a mindset hits you, that says, “I FEEL ALONE.”
When thoughts of loneliness hit their target, they can be the very painful and seem more real than the clothes we are wearing!
When the disciples tried to cross over to the other side of the sea in the boat (see Mathew 14:22-33), they were stunned by the storm that struck their ship. Why was this happening, didn’t Jesus Himself tell us to go in this way? They feared for their lives, bailing out water fearfully yet furiously. We all have you ever been in a storm, where the waters crash against you. You feel abandoned and all alone. Systematically you cry out, “Lord, where are you? Don’t you care that I am drowning here in more than water but in my loneliness?”
The disciples forgot one small detail in the midst of their storm: Jesus was in prayer for them and coming to them in the boat! There was nothing greater than His presence! We overcome the negative thoughts by the truth in Jesus! When the thought says, “I feel alone and God is gone just when I need Him most”, start praising the Lord and quotes
Hebrews 13:5(AMP) Let your character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have]; for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down ] relax My hold on you)! [ Assuredly not!].
5 STEPS CHANGING THOUGHTS TODAY
#1 He is coming to you or from another Gospel He is in the boat with you – see Mark 4:36-40, Jesus was asleep in the boat. You don’t have to wake Him up, all you have to do is rest with Him! He’s not anxious, and you don’t be either. HIS PRESENCE calmed the storm then, just as it will do now in our lives WHEN we recognize Him!
#2 As one of His disciples you don’t need Jesus to awake, you need to awake to the fact that Jesus Christ is with you like them. When you know He is with you, there is nothing to fear.
Psalm 23:4 (AMP) says, Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me.
#3 Yes this was a great miracle, Jesus calming the storm. But the greater miracle is Jesus slept IN THE MIDST of the storm. When you realize He is in your boat with you, you will have supernatural peace. Calming the storm is great; peace in the midst of it is greater!
*John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
#4 So you are in the midst of a storm, a fire storm; do not mistake fire in your life for the Lord’s absence. Mediate upon Daniel 3:22-25, Jesus was the 4th man in the fire with Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah. He was present in the middle of the fire of the enemy! Just because you don’t FEELHis presence, doesn’t mean He isn’t there. BELIEVE HE IS WITH YOU, and eventually your situation will {see 2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by faith, not by sight}.
#5 Keep Psalm 91:10-11 on the tip of your tongue, for it says, “No evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your tent for He will give His angel charge concerning you.” There are countless angels involved in our lives! But the ANGEL of the LORD is working over your life!
NOW THINK IT AND SAY IT
Make this confession: I am not trying to get in God’s presence; I am already in, through the blood of Jesus. He is always praying for me, He in my boat with me. He is not way out over there somewhere. He is with me and in me! I awake to the fact that He is with me, and I go to sleep to that same truth! There is no separation. I can rest with Him, in the midst of any storm. I can walk with Him in the midst of the fire. I am unafraid, because He is with me. Therefore, no evil shall befall me, nor shall any plague come nigh my dwelling place, nigh me in anywhere! In Jesus’ Name!
